The Joyce L. Sobel Family Resource Center provides resources, advocacy, help, and education for all islanders to be healthy, safe and productive.

Compass Health

Compass Health is Northwest Washington’s behavioral healthcare leader. They are a community-based healthcare agency with an office in Friday Harbor, integrating behavioral health and medical care services to support clients and communities when and where they are in need.

Friday Harbor Food Bank

The Food Bank strives to provide San Juan islanders with access to healthy, sustainable and nutritious food in partnership with community donors, local businesses, and island farmers.

Mullis Community Senior Center

The mission of the Mullis Community Senior Center is to meet the recreational, intellectual, social, physical, and mental needs of seniors and disabled adults through advocacy, programs, and services so that people can live and age well on San Juan Island.

San Juan County offers a thorough website describing health and community services offered by their agency.

Caregiving Connect: 

The mission of Caregiving Connections San Juan is to provide resources that enhance the emotional, physical, and social well-being of seniors and adults with disabilities and those who care for them. This includes but is not limited to an online directory of home-care providers as well as various resources meant to assist those seeking care as well as those providing care.

Meals on Wheels:

The San Juan County Senior Nutrition Program provides home-delivered "Meals on Wheels" and Senior Community Meals to older adults on Lopez, Orcas, and San Juan

Island. The Meals on Wheels and More program is administered by the nonprofit, Whatcom Council on Aging, in partnership with San Juan County Health and Community Services, and the senior centers on Lopez, Orcas, and San Juan Island. For meals on
